The Adventurous Woman is the only Tampa Bay area club just for ladies who love outdoor adventure! Fishing, Camping, Kayaking, Hikes, and more for women of all skill levels. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Bill Jackson's Shop for Adventure, beginning at 6:30PM. Our meetings feature local captains, outdoor enthusiasts and equipment specialists who share their expertise on a variety of topics. | I fish Sarasota Bay and local waters. Many small islands surrounded by oyster bars, large grass flats and acres of baitfish provide an excellent fishing environment. Sarasota inshore fishing features a bay bottom of rocks, sand, shell, grass and oyster beds. Tarpon, redfish, trout, snook, cobia, shark, mackerel, bluefish and a whole lot more flood the flats and inlets getting fat on the abundant baitfish. My business is to put you on these fish, whether you’re a serious angler or you’re looking for a relaxing day of memories and photos with your family. It’s not uncommon to see the water explode as hordes of baitfish are pushed to the top of the water by several different species of predator fish while the sea birds gather to feast on the injured.
